Richard Heeps - Photography
Working in America and the UK in particular East Anglia, Richard Heeps’ seductive, highly-saturated colours and sophisticated pictorial structures demonstrate a true love and empathy for his subject matter – be it cool, descriptive interiors, still life or landscape. His distinctive style pushes the limits of lens-based photography without the need for digital manipulation.
The collectable and affordable, hand-printed colour photographs combine the best in traditional processing with the latest archival products – from photographic paper to mount board.
Exhibitions include, The Photographers Gallery, London and Rencontres de la Photographie, Arles. Richard has also been profiled in the Independent and British Journal of Photography, also the subject of BBC’s Documentary ‘The Fens’.
