Steve J. Allen

Born in North London in 1953, Steven has been drawing and painting for as long as he can remember, he is entirely self taught, but did not pursue his interest in art with real seriousness until his early forties.

He has been inspired by the detailed work of Victorian artist Archibald Thorburn, and the almost photographic style of the Dutch Master Jan Vermeer.

Steven is a member of the Equestrian Art Society, West Norfolk Artists Association and Norfolk and Norwich Art Circle.
